  1. This is amazing! Thankyou for sharing. I’m just trying to “negotiate” part time with my employers and they could definitely use a few pages from the “don’t be a twat” manual! #KCACOLS

  2. Ha, this is great! Twattishness in general is not that unusual, unfortunately. But there is a special kind of employer twattishness that’s incredibly annoying. From non-parents who haven’t a clue and have a worrying tendency to treat parent employees like non-people. Grrr… #KCACOLS

  3. Yes. I had one of those ‘look you up and down when you haven’t ironed yourself’ bosses. Ironing and shoe polishing are for unimaginative people that can’t think of anything better to do!

  4. I don’t like big companies where dress code is important and where you have to work like crazy from 9-5, and you’re not allowed to be a minute late. I don’t know how people can take this. I know that the managers have rules they have to follow also, as otherwise they get a trouble. But in a small company, things should be much more relaxed. I’ve only worked in small companies and so far I could be late, or go for a dentist if I needed, or dress however I want.

  5. You’ve got shagged up, well done. Deal with it! We don’t want to put up with your tragic whinging because you’ve shoved something the size of a melon out of your bits. You know, you can always NOT have kids, then you wouldn’t need to CONSTANTLY moan about how hard done by you are. How the hell did our parents, grandparents etc manage? GET OVER YOURSELVES YOU TRAGIC BINTS.

  6. Lol I am just getting the popcorn out reading all the comments. I love how tongue in cheek you are and it always annoys me when people pretend their kids are little angels when actually they are little shits haha.

    1. Haaa could you imagine?! By some of the responses here I think I would be mobbed! 😂 I agree though, all anyone wants its a tad bit more flexibility. Pretty sure it would help businesses out too! X

  7. I know this post is tongue in cheek but why should parents have different rules to the other staff members – nothing worse than when a colleague is late which then impacts on everyone else #justsayin (Mum of 6 and a ex-manager)

    1. I agree that everyone has to have the same rules and as an ex-creative director I found parents pains in the bum. But as a employer and a employee and now a freelancer, I think there’s many things companies can do for ALL employees to make life a little easier. Anyway, thank you for your comment. The post is here to raise debate and it’s done that 😀

    1. I’m the same! I used to work for a busy marketing company and it slowly killed me having to fit 9-6 then extra into a day with kids. Just wish that employers could be a little more flexible for everyone. Pretty sure it would help their business too. Thanks so much for commenting! 😀

  9. How did I miss this post? It’s great! When I was heavily pregnant with a toddler and turning up to work with wet hair, someone commented and I almost stood on them. I just told them it was lucky for them I could even be bothered to get dressed.

  10. Love it! Perhaps all managers should do what Catherine Tate did in the US version of The Office & give new parents a pillow & a blanket & let them sleep in their office to improve employee satisfaction & motivation!

Thanks so much for joining us on #FridayFrolics. Hope to see you next time!

  11. I agree with every word! I am not back in the work force yet and not really looking forward to it as it is quickly approaching and I am sure I am going to have to deal with “twats” on every level. Love your illustrations. Thanks for the giggle and for linking with #momsterslink. Hope to see you again today!
